James Henry Coventry was born on June 7, 1909 in Wallerawang, New South Wales, Australia, son of Walter and Ada Coventry.[1]
Jim married Mildred Dahlenburg on January 5, 1935.[2]
Wedding of Mildred Ernestine Rosina (Dahlenburg) Foster (1907-1979) and James Henry Coventry (1909-1964), 5 January 1935, from photograph belonging to her grandmother Alstenea (Schneider) Fritsch (1863-1942). The card containing the photo has written"To Grandma with best wishes from Millie and Jim 5th Jan, 1935". Elsie Dorothea (Launer) Thomson (1923-2018) has identified the man on the left as Harry Dahlenberg (is this Henry?), and the woman furtherest to the right as being Ethel Marie (Dahlenburg) Campbell (1908-2004). Noted that Elsie writes their surname ending with "berg". |
Together they had two daughters and a son.
Jim died on May 20, 1964 in Queanbeyan, New South Wales and was buried in the Queanbeyan Lawn Cemetery and Memorial Garden.[3]
