Biography

Anna was born in 1839 in Sydney, New South Wales. She is the daughter of William Cowell and Elizabeth Unknown. [1]

Anna married Frederick Hoffmann in Sydney, New South Wales in 1859.[2]

She died in childbirth, on 26 Aug 1860, at the age of 21 years. Her infant son, George William Hoffmann, died the following day at his grandmother Elizabeth Cowell's home. She is buried in the St Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Enfield, Burwood Municipality, New South Wales, Australia.[3][4][5]
