- Leslie's Death Notice reads:
- "COWLEY, Leslie - August 24, 1967 at Singleton District Hospital, late of "Bayswater", Ravensworth, loved husband of Daisy, loved father of Helen (Mrs. S. Baker, Muswellbrook), Alan (Ravensworth), Marion (deceased). Aged 74 years." He had a Service at All Saints, Singleton and has a Memorial in Singleton Anglican Columbarium.
