Biography

Benjamin Coy was born in Indiana in 1800, and was the son of Mathew Benjamin Coy and Nancy "Mary" Brown. ^[1]

He married Jane Connor August 8, 1822 in Marion County, Indiana. ^[2] They had five children. ^[3]

After the death of Jane Connor, he married Julia Welch September 18, 1842. ^[4] They had five children. ^{[5] [6] [7]}

He passed away January 19, 1871, and is buried in Thurman Cemetery, Thurman, Fremont County, Iowa, USA ^{[8] [9]}
