Amanda Elizabeth Cragle was born in Pond Hill, Conyngham Township, Luzerne, Pennsylvania on 27 Apr 1875. She was the daughter of William Cragle and Mary Sponenburg. On 17 Oct 1895 she married John Lehr in Mainville, Columbia, Pennsylvania.[1] The couple had one son, Allen Franklin Lehr. Her husband died in 1900, and she married Hurley Pettit on 24 Apr 1901. Amanda Pettit died in Nanticoke State General Hospital, Nanticoke, Luzerne, Pennsylvania on 27 Jan 1951. On 30 Jan 1951 she was buried at Pine Grove Cemetery, Market Street, Berwick, Columbia, Pennsylvania.[2]
