"A pretty but quiet wedding took place at St Peters Church in Sible Hedingham, Essex on 7th inst., the vicar Rev Arthur J Evans officiating. The bride was Annie Lilian Alice Cramp. (Dollie) eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W Cramp, Mount Nebo, Sible Hedingham, late of 4, Bay View Cottages, Baldslow. and eldest grand daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Fred Baker, late of Sea View Cottages, Baldslow. and the bridegroom was Frank, youngest son of Mr and the late Mrs Charles Bocking of Potters Hall, Great Yeldham. The bride was given away by her father and looked very charming in a dress of white luvisca, trimmed with white silk fringery to match. She wore a wreath of orange blossom and hand silk embroidered veil iwth white shoes and stockings. She carried a sheaf of lovely white chrysanthemums, the gift of the bride groom, and wore a sprig of white heather, sent to her by her aunt, Mrs. Herbert Brett, of 39, Perth Road, Silver Hill, St Leonards, fastened by a small gold horseshoe brooch, lent by her mother. She also carried a silk embroidered handkerchief brought from France by her father. There were four bridesmaids, Mrs Myrtle, Amy , Gladys and Irene Cramp sisters of the bride). The two elder wore dresses of forgetme not blue silk tricoline. with white leghorn hats trimmed with black velvet and forget me nots. they also had sprays of white carnations, gifts of the bridegroom. the two latter twin sisters wore white embroidered dresses, underlined with shell pink, and wore mob caps with streamers of shell pink ribbon, and sashes to match. Mr Ernest Lock was the best man. The brides mother and sister Ivy, with her only little brother were present. The reception was held at the bride and bridegroom's future home Brickwall Farm, Sible Hedingham. The presents were numerous and useful." - Media (newspaper name and date not given)
