Research Notes

Oddly, there is a marriage 19 Sep 1811 for Stephen Lewis and Martha Cox.

This bears more research....

Stephen Lewis Jr b. 1781, son of Stephen Lewis and Susana Bielman, died intestate in 1825 - petition on page 5 from his estate file: "Priscilla Cox and infant children under 20 years of age Losady Craven, Lewis Craven, Nathan Craven, Uriah Craven, Samuel Craven and Oliver Craven & next friend Samuel Craven against Brooks Lewis, David Lewis and John Johnson and Elinor his wife". Priscilla Cox is explained to be Stephen Lewis's sister and these are the children of Stephen's sister (Delilah's children), all with Craven last name, Samuel's children.
