James Crawford was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

James was born on 22 November 1864 most likely where his parents were living at West Bargo in the Picton area of the Colony of New South Wales.^[1] He was the son of Joseph Crawford and Eliza Jane Annett. He was baptised on 9 August 1865 at St Mark's Church, Picton,^[2]

James married Ann Stutchbury on 19 February 1889 at All Saint's Church, Nowra, in the Colony of New South Wales.^[3]

James, a retired farmer died on 27 April 1946 in Moeyan (Berry), New South Wales, Australia.^[4][5]He was buried in the Berry Cemetery.^[6]
