Charles, born on May 15, 1830 in Morgan County, Georgia, is the son of George H. Crawley and Elizabeth Green Crawley.[1]
In the 1830 census Charles was in District 396, Morgan, Georgia.[2]
He married Martha Jane Awbrey (Aubrey).[3]
The U.S. Census of 1870 lists the family living in Arkansas. It also states they had moved from Georgia to Alabama, to Louisiana, to Arkansas, to Texas and back to Arkansas. Six children are listed.[1]
The U.S. Census of 1880 lists the family living at Gravelly Hill (now Gravelly), Yell County, Arkansas. Three additional children are listed.[1]
Their children are:
John died on November 28, 1884 and is buried in Parks Cemetery, Nola, Arkansas.[1] Martha died on March 6, 1926 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Memphis, Texas.[4]
