William was born in New Zealand in 1882, the son of Elizabeth Ann and Isaac Hill Creamer.
He worked as a lighthouse keeper at Castle Point from 1902 to 1923, and was based at Tiritiri Matangi Island in the 1900s. [1]
William Creamer had land in Birkenhead, on Auckland's North Shore. He donated the corner of Onewa Road and Birkenhead Avenue, on which Zion Hill Methodist Church was built.
They lived in Sainsbury Road, Morningside, Auckland.
He passed away aged 61 in 1944. The children named in his death notice were - Eric; Jack; Joel; May; Dorothy and Thelma. [2]
