Ivy Myrtle Criddle was born on April 13, 1901 in Greenough, Western Australia, Australia, daughter of John Thomas Criddle (1872–1938) and Jesse Sinclair Mainland (1871–1936). Ivy, daughter of John Thos Criddle & Jessie Sinclair Criddle, was baptised on 9 June 1901 in Greenough, Western Australia, Australia.[1].
Ivy (21) married William Arthur Saunders (25) (born in 1897 in Perth, Western Australia) in 1923 in Greenough. Their first child, a son, was stillborn at Walley Hospital in Cowes, Victoria[2]. The children that followed were:
- Jessie Hazel Saunders (1926–1994)
- Norma Joy Saunders (1927–1977)
- Shirley June Saunders (1928–1976)
- Norman James Saunders (1932–1940)
Ivy (47) married Moses William Stokes (48) (born in 1900 in Greenough; son of William Stokes and Anna (Knapp) Stokes) in 1949 in Geraldton, Western Australia.
Ivy died on November 3, 1962 in Geraldton, Western Australia, aged 61and was buried in Geraldton, Greater Geraldton City, Western Australia, Australia.[3]
