Biography

John William Crosbie was born about 1839. He was the son of William Crosbie and Margaret OConnor. ^[1]

He married Helen Leitch Dow on 8 June 1870 at All Saints, St. Kilda, Melbourne, Victoria. ^[2]

CROSBIE-DOW.-On the 8th inst, at All Saints' Church. East St Kilda, by the Rev. J. H. Gregory, John Wm. Crosbie, of St. Kilda, son of the late Wm Crosbie, of Melbourne, to Helen Leitch, only daughter of John Dow, of Toganmain, Murrumbidgee Rive, New South Wales.

He died, aged 52, on 25 July 1891 at his residence, Alfred Square, Esplanade, St. Kilda, Victoria, Australia and was interred at St Kilda Cemetery. ^{[1] [4] [5] [6]}
