Biography

• Lydeard St. Lawrence and Kittisford are adjacent villages in Somerset.

The 1971 census original for the family. james is abscent. seen on the original the head of household he is now Henry his son. The birth date is very obscure it has been transcribed as 66 and 44 but actually is more likely to start with a 1. (19?) James dies soon after this census. His son Henry appears as Witness in wedding etc around this time and seems to be taking on the fathes role.. Was James incapacitated and Henry was acting as Head of the house causing confusion in the Census. But where is James? I am now more convinced that the sources are correct and that this is the same family.

• James he dies in 1973 at the age of 59. which seems correct.
