Before a Beautifully decorated altar, Nuptial Mass was celebrated at St. Vincent's Church, Ashfield, by the 'Very Rev. Father F. King, C.M., for the marriage of Beryl, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Finlayson, of Ashflold, and A.C.I. John Bede Crowe, R.A.A.F., elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. 'V. Crowe, Canowindra. The Bride wore soft white satin, trimmed with georgette and pearls. Bridesmaid Miss Betty Gooch chose pale' blue net over taffeta. The best man was Sergeant Bernard Cantwell, . R.A.A.F.

A reception was held at the home of the bride 's parents; Mrs. Finlayson, wearing a nut brown cloque ' ensemble, received the guests, assisted by the groom 's mother, who wore .iacaranda blue brocaded antelope crepe.^[1]
