AJ Crowe was born 10 Mar 1928 in Ohio County, Kentucky, USA. His parents were Arthur Little Crowe and Mary Luana Baker. He died 16 Dec 2015 in Reynolds Station, Ohio, Kentucky, USA at Fordsville Nursing Home^[1]. He was a member of Shepherd Chapel Church and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

His name is just AJ. The A was for grandpa Cesar (Albert) and Arthur as well as other friends they wanted to honor. The J was for her brothers, Jesse, Johnnie and Joy, so his name was AJ . When he went into the army, he had to use a name for the initial and he used Alton James during his 2 years of service. His name had no initials and was pronounced Ajay.
