Biography
John Croysdale was born in Yorkshire, England.
John married Mary Ashton in Pontefract, Yorkshire, in 1828.[1] In 1851 the family lived in Pontefract, where John was a "bone merchant and town councillor."[2] By 1861 they lived in Eggborough, Yorkshire.[3]
John died in 1877 at the age of 70.[4] He was buried in Kellington, Yorkshire.[5]
