Donald was born on 5 Aug 1806 in Cromdale, Inverness-shire, Scotland, United Kingdom, the son of Duncan Cruickshank and Margaret McDonald.[1]
He married Ann Grant on 26 May 1835 in Cromdale.[2]
He died on 12 Feb 1877 in Rynechra, Grantown, Inverallan, Elgin (Moray), Scotland.[3]
