Lillian Ida Cruickshank (married name Thatcher) was born on 8 June 1890 in Bealiba, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Emily (Lucas) Cruickshank and James Cruickshank.^[1][2]

She married Alfred Theodore Thatcher on 7 July 1909 in Maryborough.^[3] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
