Note
There are two (suspiciously similar) baptism records that might be Patience's. The first has her born 09 Feb 1828, daughter of Samuel and Pattena, in Trouty, Trinity North[2]. The other claims Patience was born 14 Jan 1828, the daughter of Samuel and Patience, in Bay De Verde, Harbour Grace[3].
Note that Samuel Crutch (of Bay de Verde) married Patience Sheppard in 1823[4]
