Biography

Emily Caroline was born on 29 November 1830 in Heigham, Norfolk, England. She was the daughter of Robert Cullington and Mary Ann (Stratford) Cullington[1][2].

In 1851 Emily Caroline (age about 20) was employed as a Silk Filler and lived in Globe Yd, Heigham, Norwich, Norfolk[3].

When Emily Caroline Cullington was about 20 she married Samuel Nichols on 8 September 1851 in Norwich, Norfolk[4].

Together they had 8 children:

  1. Child: Emily Nichols
  2. Child: Eliza Nichols
  3. Child: Honor Amy Nichols
  4. Child: Harriet Estelle Nichols
  5. Child: Laura Nichols
  6. Child: Alice Elizabeth Nichols
  7. Child: Mary Nicholls
  8. Child: Samuel Edward Nichols

In the 1861 census, Emily Caroline (age about 30) was living in Norwich St John Maddermarket, Norfolk, England.[5]

In the 1871 census Emily Caroline (age about 40) was living in Norwich, Norfolk, England.[6]

In the 1881 census Emily Caroline (age about 50) was living in Norwich St John Maddermarket, Norfolk, England.[7]

In the 1891 census Emily Caroline (age about 60) was living in Heigham, Norfolk, England.[8]

Emily Caroline died at the age of about 67 in June 1898 in Norwich registration district, Norfolk.[9]
