Ida (Cundiff) Carson was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky.

Ida E Cundiff was born on May 31, 1873, daughter of George A. Cundiff (1845–1923) and Mary Luticia Harmon (1848–1941).^[1]

Ida died on January 25, 1973, aged 99. She was buried in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, Phil.^[1]
