Mary Veronica Curran was born about 1834 in County Cork, Ireland. She was the daughter of John Curran and Mary Allen.

Mary migrated to the Colony of Victoria, Australia.

On 28 August 1855 in Castlemaine, Victoria, she married Denis O'Leary.^[1]
