Loretta was born in 1849. She was the daughter of Moses Currier and Lucretia Moor Smith.
An 1850 Census shows Loretta S. 1 b. 1849 living with her parents, Moses Currier 35 b. 1815 and Lucinda M. Currier 33 b. 1817 and siblings in Danbury, Grafton, New Hampshire. Her siblings were;[1][2]

Loretta married Gustine Harlon Jackson in 1868 in Danbury, Grafton, New Hampshire. [2]
