"Colonel" David Cushing, son of Captain Abel Cushing, was born in Hingham, Massachusetts, September 7, 1727. [1]

He married first April 9, 1752 Ruth Lincoln. She died July 6, 1761.[1]
He married second Mabel Gardner 23 Jan 1763.[1]

Activities

David was an energetic and prominent man in town affairs. He was selectman in 1768, 1769, 1770, 1771, and again in 1775 and 1776.[1]
He served as colonel of a regiment, etc.[1] ie. the 2nd Suffolk County Regiment.[2]
David resided on South Pleasant Street in Hingham.[1]
