Biography

William John Cuthbertson was a Congregational minister. He held pastorates in Canada and the United States of America, and married Emma Sayer in August 1877 in Ontario, Canada. They then moved to the United Kingdom, and were living in East Stonehouse (now part of Plymouth), Devon, England, in 1891. [1]

William Cuthbertson was minister in Plymouth, Devon, from 1891 to 1894. [2]

After his wife's death in 1895 in Devon, he moved to Duxford in Cambridgeshire, England. [1]

From 1896 to 1900, he ministered at the Independent Church in Duxford, where the Reverend Thomas Sainsbury had been minister. [2]

He remarried, his second wife being Mary Sainsbury, a daughter of the Reverend Thomas Sainsbury. [3] [1]

He ministered subsequently in Cowes, Isle of Wight, in Hampshire and in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, England. [1]
