Biography

Marguerite Cyr was born on 11 Mar 1834 to Francois Cyr and Victoire Vivier. Baptism took place at St. François Xavier, Manitoba the following day[1]:

The twelfth of March 1834, we baptise Marguerite, born yesterday to the legitimate marriage of Francois Cyr and of Victoire Vivier; godfather: Olivier Laroque, godmother: Magdeleine Piche.

Marguerite married Louis Allary (dit Henry?) (son of Antoine Allary and Josephte Caplette) before 1854.[2]

At the time of the 1870 census of Manitoba, they were residing at Poplar Point.[3]
