Eugène naquit le 15 déc. 1811, fils de Germain Coté et Marie Louise Perreault. Il fut baptisé le 29 déc. 1811 à L'Isle-Verte, Bas-Canada [1].
Il épousa Émérence Jalbert en premières noces le 18 fév. 1833 à L'Isle-Verte [2], Bas-Canada. Émérence mourut le 31 juil. 1837.
Il épousa Marie Anne Beaulieu en deuxième noces le 17 sep. 1839 à l'âge de 27 ans à St-Basile, Madawaska, Nouvelle-Brunswick [3].
Il mourut le 9 mai 1900, à l'âge de 88 ans, à Madawaska, Maine, É.U [4] [5].
Biography
Eugène was born on Dec 15, 1811. He was the son of Germain Coté and Marie Louise Perreault. He was baptised Dec 29, 1811, at L'Isle-Verte, Lower Canada [1].
He married Émérence Jalbert on Feb 18, 1833, at L'Isle-Verte, Lower Canada [2]. Émerence passed away on July 31, 1837.
He then married his second wife, Marie Anne Beaulieu, on Sep 17, 1839, at the age of 27 years old at St-Basile, Madawaska, New Brunswick [3].
He passed away at Madawaska, Maine, USA on May 9, 1900, at the age of 88 years old [4] [5].
