Biography

Amable Côté was born on 23 February 1784 and baptized the following day in L'Isle-Verte, Province of Québec. His parents were Jean Baptiste Côté and Marie Louise Côté.[1]

Marriage
He married Marie Louise Dubé, daughter of Pierre Dubé and Geneviève Marie Desnoyers, on 13 June 1809 in L'Isle-Verte, Bas-Canada. [2]Marie Louise Dubé passed away on 4 April 1827 in L'Isle-Verte.

2nd Marriage
As widower of Marie Louise Dubé, he married Victoire St-Pierre, daughter of Michel St-Pierre and Marie Françoise Chartier, on 6 October 1829 in Saint-Jean-Baptiste de L'Isle-Verte.[3]
