Biography
Marguerite was born in 1785, the daughter of Benoni d'Entremont and Anne-Marguerite Pothier.
- She married Louis Amirault on February 3, 1806. The marriage was performed by Jean Mande Sigogne at Ste. Anne Du Ruisseau.
- Sigogne notes that neither of Louis Amirault's parents were able to attend the wedding due to infirmities of old age.
- Sigogne also notes that Louis was of the age of majority, and that marguerite was a minor.
- Witnesses were: Paul d'Entremont, uncle of groom, Joseph LeBlanc the elder, and Pierre Miuce
- Marguerite and her husband were alive as of the 1838 census.[1]
- It is believed that Marguerite and her husband were alive as of their son André's marriage on January 7, 1847.[2]
