Biography
Warren was born in 1924. He was the son of Warren Dakin and Areta Wilkinson. He passed away in 2006. From his Obituary:
- Warren joined the Regina Rifles at age 17, and served overseas during WW II. During his career as an investment broker and developer, he was a director and executive vice-president of Midland Osler; president of International Land and CanAm Projects. He developed landmark and award-winning properties in Vancouver, Bellingham and San Francisco, including The Seastrand in West Vancouver. Warren was a 51-year member of the Capilano Golf and Country Club.
He was predeceased by his brothers Flt. Sgt. Thomas D. Dakin died in WW II and Frederick (Ted) Dakin of Hamilton, Ont.
