She was born in Ewes, Dumfriesshire on the 21st of December 1804 and baptised on the 4th of January 1805[1][2]. Her parents were Walter Dalglish and Jannet Easton; their place of residence was Sandyhaugh.
The 1841 census noted her living at Ramseycleuch in the Ettrick parish of Selkirkshire[3].
The 1851 census records her living with her husband and children at Whitslade farm, Ashkirk parish, Selkirkshire[4].
Annie and family were still at Whitslade in 1871[5].
By 1881 her husband had died but she remained at Whitlade living with her son (also William)[6].
She died at Annelshope farm, Ettrick parish in Selkirkshire on the 6th of November, 1884[7].
