Biography

Alafare (Damron) Mullins was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky. See Appalachia Project.

Alafare ("Allie") was born in 1873. She is the daughter of Benjamin Damron and Malinda McGlone. [1]. She married Ulysses Grant Mullins in 1888.

She passed away in 1900 as a result of an accidental powder explosion, which was reported in newspapers across the United States [2] [3]
