Biography
George Dandridge was born in 1847 in Henry County, Virginia. He was the son of Carter Dandridge and Maria Dandridge.
On 8 Dec 1878, in Henry, he married Alice Hairston[1]. They had the following children.
- Carter Dandridge b. 1879 - d. 1883, age 5, cause "accident"
- Georgianna Dandridge b. 1884 - d. aft. 1903, m. Henry Staples
Alice passed away on 15 Sep 1887, age 27, from "dropsy"[2].
On 4 Sep 1897, in Henry, he married Loula Hairston (b. 1864, daughter of Berry & Mariah Hairston). They had the following child (she had children from a prior marriage).
- Jackson H Dandridge b. 1899 - d. aft. 1910
George passed away on 25 Apr 1913, age 65, from liver cancer[3].
