Françoise Huché arrived in Québec city as a Fille du roy, accompanied by her uncle Charles Danetz and his wife Marie Deshayes, on 30 June 1664 aboard the ship Le St-Jean-Baptiste from Dieppe[1]
Guillaume Bonhomme, son of Nicolas Bonhomme and Catherine Goujet, married Françoise Huché, daughter of Jacques Huché (deceased) and Marie Danetz, of the parish of St-Eustache in Paris, on 30 Oct 1664 the Ste-Foy chapel (record kept in Notre-Dame de Québec).[2]. Her uncle Charles Danetz is named as present at the ceremony.
Her aunt Marie Deshayes was godmother of Françoise's first-born son Nicolas Bonhomme in 1665. She was also godmother of Jean Baptiste Picher on 26 Oct 1666 in Québec (ND)[3]
Charles Danet and his wife were married in France, they have one known son born in the colony, Charles Danest, born 14 May 1673, baptized on the 15th in Notre-Dame de Québec by the priest Louis Ango[4]. Their son Charles Danes married Marie Madeleine Bertheaume (Berthiaume), daughter of Jacques Bertheaume and Catherine Bonhomme, on 24 Nov 1711 in Ste-Foy[5]. Charles the father is listed as deceased on this record. The groom signed the record Charles Danays.

No funeral record has been identified as his. His wife gave a lease on 27 July 1687 and was listed as widow of Charles Danay. The last act found where he was living was on 21 June 1684 (above).
