Biography
Joseph Daniaux was born on 9 April 1747 and baptised the following day in Berthier-en-Bas, Berthier-sur-mer, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His parents were Joseph Dagneau and Marie Josephe Greffard.[1]
Joseph Dagneau married Marguerite Gauthier, daughter of Jacques Gauthier and Geneviève Metivier, on 8 November 1773 in Beloeil, Province of Québec.[2]
Joseph Dagneau dit Laprise passed away on 8 May 1821 being given the age of around 76 years old on the record. His burial was two days later in Saint-Jean-Baptiste-de-Rouville, Lower Canada.[3]
