Biography

Capt. Samuel Darling was born on March 18, 1694, in Mendon, Worcester County, Massachusetts, and died on February 17, 1774, in Bellingham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.[1]

He married, thirdly, Tamerson Adams, the widow of Joseph Ellis, on February 7, 1760, in Medway, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.[2]

Samuel Darling and Mary Thompson had eight children as follows:

  1. Samuel Darling Jr (1720-1814)
  2. Michael Darling (abt.1723-1817)
  3. Elizabeth Darling (1725)
  4. Abigail (Darling) Draper (1731-1826)
  5. John Darling (1733-1800)
  6. Rachel Darling (1735)
  7. Joshua Darling (1737-1815)
  8. Ruth (Darling) Pits

Samuel Darling and Penelope Brown had one child as follows:

  1. Penelope (Darling) Wilson (1742-)

Samuel Darling and Tamerson Adams had no children together.
