Biography

May was christened in August 1891. ^[1]

In 1901 she is living with her family - her parents and 5 siblings. Her father is a stone mason and two older brothers are plasterers. ^[2]

By 1911 her father has passed away, her mother is a market gardener and May's role is helping with the garden. ^[3]
