Charlotte DAVIS, daughter of John DAVIS (1798-1830) and Charlotte SPOONER (1799-1875), was born on 15 March 1830 in Longton, Staffordshire, England.(*1,2) She was christened on 4 April 1830 in The Zion Methodist New Connexion Chapel in Longton.(*2) She was christened by William Walker. The register confirms that Charlotte was the sixth child of John and Charlotte and that her mother was daughter of Luke Spooner, glazier of Stoke. Sadly her father was buried the day after Charlotte was christened. In 1830 Charlotte was resident in Waterloo Buildings.(*3) She died in 1830.(*4) She was buried on 1 August 1830 in The Church of St. Peter Ad Vincula, Stoke, Staffordshire, England.(*3)
