When William T. Davis was born in November 1854 in Alabama, his father, William, was 25 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 20. He married Angeline Whitehead on January 29, 1878, in Lauderdale, Alabama. They had eight children in 14 years. He died on December 25, 1899, in Lauderdale, Alabama, at the age of 45, and was buried there.
