William Davis was born in 1680 and passed away in 1771. [1]
A previous version of this profile claimed, without source, that William was the son of Nathaniel Davis. Until reliable evidence is offered for these origins, any parents have been detached.
William married Marian (maiden name not known). Children of William and Marian were:[citation needed]
- John Davis, born 1711, died before March, 1757 in Dinwiddie County, VA.
- Baxter Davis, born 1713, died 30 JAN 1749/50 in Lunenburg County, Virginia, married Jane Hardaway on 15 OCT 1737 in Prince George County, Virginia. Jane Hardaway was born 26 MAR 1721 in Prince George County, Virginia, a daughter of Thomas Hardaway, born circa 1680 and his wife Jane Drury Smith. Jane (Hardaway) Davis died 09 JUL 1795.
- Edward Davis was born 1720, and died before 13 JAN 1758 in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. He married Lucy (?nee) before 1748.
- Richard Davis was born 1723
- William Davis died before 18 JUN 1801
