William Thomas Davis was born in Concord, New Hampshire on November 30,1949. He was the son of Mary A. Davis and son of Charles C. Davis and the brother of Robert E. Davis.
He was from Raleigh County, West Virginia.
William was a Private First Class Rifleman with the United States Marine Corps.He served with the 3rd Marine Division, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, H Company during the Vietnam War.
William was killed in action on September 24, 1968 in Quang Tri, Vietnam during Operation Kentucky, along with 15 other American soldiers.
He is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Wall of Faces, panel 46W, line 13.
