notes from Becky B. (beckyb1342@comcast.net) 6/19/2002: Sarah's death in 1870 was reported by Diana Kincaid who gave her relationship as Grandmother. Sarah and her children were living with a James Kincaid at the time of her death (Sewell Mtn.) She also stated that Sarah Davis married William Ford III on 4/3/1859 in Fayette Co., WV, son of William Ford Jr & Rebecca Ford. He was born about 1837 in Monroe Co., VA (WV) and died before 1870. = She speculated that he may have been a Confederate Soldier who died 1861 in Lewisburg. Becky B. lists the children of Sarah Davis and William Ford III as: Margaret Ford b. 1858 William Ford IV b. 1861 Andrew L. Ford b. 1867 Diana Susan "Anne" Ford b.July 1868 (1864-68 unsure) in Summers Co., WV and d. Dec 9, 1930 Fayette Co., WV. She married (1) Newton S. Ayres on Feb. 11, 1887 in Fayette Co., WV. He was b. 1868 Monroe Co., VA (WV) and d. WV; and then married (2) Josiah Jacob Woolwine on Jan 3, 1891 in Fayette Co., WV. He b. March 21, 1856 in Alderson, Greenbrier Co., WV and d. June 25, 1938 in Page, Fayette Co., WV. Becky B.'s notes for Diana Kincaid and Josiah Woolwine: "Diane name is listed on the records as Anne Ford and her age is 22 which would make her birth date 1868. When she married Ayres in 1887, her age was listed as 24 - which would make her birth date 1864. Her tombstone give it as 1866. She is buried in the Kincaid Cemetery at Kincaid."
