Biography

George Davison was born in Northumberland, England.

George Davison was born in Wooler, Northumberland, England in 1783 to Thomas Davsion and Isabel (Forreston) Davison. He was baptized 15 Feb 1783 in Wooler. ^[1]

George was a highly reputable gunsmith, as was his father. ^[2] He married Margaret Bilton on 7 December 1805. They were married in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. ^[3]

George and Margaret had five sons: Thomas Bilton (b.1806), ^[4] George (b.1808), ^[5] John (b.1811), ^[6] Edward (b. 1813), ^{[citation needed]} and Bilton (b.1815). ^{[citation needed]}.

George became a widower when Margaret passed away in 1816, leaving him with five young boys. He remarried Mary Anderson on 18 February 1817 in Alnwick. ^[7]

George and Mary had four sons: Robert Anderson (b.1818), ^[8] William Edward Septimus, Charles Edward, and Anderson George Thomas (b.1825). ^{[citation needed]}

George Davison passed away in 1827 at the age of 44. He was buried 21 March 1827 in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. ^[9]
