Research Notes
There are at least two records of marriage for a William Dawson and an Elizabeth Russell on Family Search. Both relate to the year 1779, which would make William 55 years of age when he married; there isn't enough information available to pinpoint either marriage to William, and no great distance between the locations.[7][8]
On Family Search, It hasn't been possible to connect any children to the couple for the same reason.
Regarding record of death, more than one Wiliam Dawson on Family Search who died within the suggested period of 1807, but no way to confirm even with the handwritten evidence. No evidence on Find a Grave.
