Milton Day was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Milton was born in 1872. In the 1880 census Milton (age 10) was the son of Emly Day in Bull Creek, Scott, Tennessee, United States.^[1]

Mit married Julia A. Blakely on 19 April 1893 in Scott, Tennessee.^[2][3] In the 1900 census Mit (age 28), Farmer, was the married head of household in Civil District 10, Scott, Tennessee.^[4] In the 1910 census Mit (age 39), Farmer, was the married head of household in Civil District 4, Scott, Tennessee, United States.^[5]

In the 1920 census Mit (age 50), Farmer, was the married head of household in Civil District 1, Scott, Tennessee.^[6]

Milton died on 18 March 1929 and was buried in Hutson Cemetery, Scott County, Tennessee, United States.^[7]
