Biography
Minnie DeCoste was born in in Richmond County, Nova Scotia in 1877. She is the daughter of Isaac DeCoste and Margaret Hureau. She married Louis McPhee, probably sometime before 1913 when their son Leo was born. In 1921 she and Louis are living in Grantville, Nova Scotia with seven children in the household. She passed away in 1927 in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish. Her death registration states she was buried in Grantville, but there is a headstone with her name on it in the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery in Lower River Inhabitants.
