- Unmatched Merges:
- Malinda (Dewitt) Wilkerson (abt.1776-abt.1861) and Malinda (DeWitt) Wilkerson (1787-1860) have been set as an unmatched merge until such time as the correct mother of the duplicate fathers, James H. Dewitt (abt.1744-1824) and James H Dewitt (1760-1824) can be determined in order to merge the duplicate James'.

- The duplicate fathers of James H. DeWitt, Louis Nording Dewitt (1710-) and Louis Casimir Nording DeWitt (1720-1807) have different birth locations and different wives.

- I have set all involved as unmatched merges. Hopefully someday, the duplicate Louis DeWitts and the correct mother of James H. can be resolved and allow the duplicates to be merged. BJS
- Removed references to 1820 Census. The only household listed in Bedford County in the 1820 Census with a male over 45 was the household of James DeWitt, the only male in the household. BJS
- 5 May 2022: I have searched Ancestry.com, Family Search.org, and a Google search for Louis. Except for unsourced trees, I have found nothing about him. BJS

A descendant sent me some personal information that shows that DeWitt-1302 and DeWitt-1192 are the same man. He had two different wives, first, Pierette deBrissac and then, Catherine Dupuy. I will attach the information on DeWitt-1192. I did not find more documents confirming the information yet, perhaps someone else can help, either on the Paris information or the New York, Pennsylvania or Virginia records. Thanks! Lara Boles
