General Sir Charles Parker Deedes was born on 9 August 1879 at Nether Broughton, Leicestershire, England. He was the son of Reverend Philip Deedes and Josephine Parker.
He married Eve Mary Dean-Pitt, daughter of Captain Stanley Talbot Dean-Pitt and Harriet Mary Augusta Williams, on 4 July 1906 at Brompton Oratory, Kensington, London, England.
He died on 9 March 1969 at age 89 at Budleigh Salterton, Devon, England.
