Biography
Joseph was born 14 Oct 1768. He was the son of François Delage and his wife Elizabeth Lessard. He was baptized the next day in Charlesbourg, godparents were Joseph Côté and the child's sister Agathe Delage, no signatures. [1]
On 14 Feb 1803, in Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Joseph Delâge dit Lavigueur adult son of deceased François Delâge dit Lavigueur and Elizabeth Lessard married Marie Anne Brunet dite Dauphine adult daughter of cooper Nicolas Brunet and deceased Charlotte Lamontagne. Witnesses were Joseph Vienneau and jean Baptiste Lamontagne, no signatures. [2]
Joseph Delage died 15 Oct 1842. He was buried 2 days later in St-Roch de Québec.
