Ruth Dellar, married name Cameron, was born about 11th June 1841 at Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, England, the daughter of James Dellar and Lydia Howe. [1]
Marriage. In 1862, she married Alexander Cameron, in the Colony of Victoria, Australia. [2]
Death. Ruth Cameron died 26th April 1894, age 51. [3]

CAMERON.—On the 26th April, at 19 Buckhurst-street, South Melbourne, Ruth, the beloved wife of Alexander Cameron, aged 51 years. Respected by all who knew her. [4]

FUNERAL NOTICES
CAMERON.— The Friends of ALEXANDER CAMERON are respectfully invited to follow the remains of his late beloved wife, RUTH, to their last resting place, the Melbourne General Cemetery. The funeral is appointed to leave his residence, 19 Buckhurst-street, South Melbourne, TO-MORROW (Sunday), 29th inst., at 2.30 p.m.
Ruth was interred 29th April 1894 at Melbourne General Cemetery (MGC-PRE-Comp-P-No-819) where she was joined by two granddaughters: Alice Maud Maynard (died 1895, aged 8), and Rita Ellen Cameron (died 1903, aged 2). In 1906, the fourth position was taken by her widower, Alexander Cameron. [6]
